Decimal Software has announced the appointment of Damon Watkins as its new chief executive officer, effective March 2018.
Watkins, who has over 20 years' experience in financial services and technology, previously held roles with Beachcroft Financial Services, AMP, FIS Software and Prudential Assurance.
Watkins replaces Nic Pollock, who has been Decimal's CEO since 2015 and is moving on to "new opportunities."
In a statement to the ASX, Decimal's chair, Mark Potts, acknowledged that Watkins' "experience and technical knowledge of the financial services sector" were the key reasons for his appointment.
Pollock and Watkins will work together during a transition period.
