HESTA, the $39 billion fund for the health & community services sector, has confirmed the appointment of Anna Claude to its board, effective 1 January 2017. As an employee appointee, Claude represents the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation.
Claude is currently manager of industrial strategy and bargaining for the NSW Nurses and Midwives' Association (NSWNMA) and is a member of the ACTU Innovation and Growth Taskforces.
She has 20 years' experience in both superannuation and industrial relations, having worked in various roles focused on improving outcomes for workers in the healthcare sector. Previously, she was a director of HIP Superannuation and FSU Staff Superannuation.
Claude replaced Brett Holmes on the board.
