Natixis Investment Managers has appointed Laura Kaliszewski as global head of client sustainable Investing.

In this new role, Kaliszewski will lead a team supporting clients in their sustainable investing goals, leveraging the resources of Natixis IM and its investment managers' expertise.

Natixis IM country head of Australia & New Zealand Louise Watson said as a parent company to more than 15 affiliate asset managers globally -  including Mirova, AEW, Flexstone Partners, Loomis Sayles and Aussie affiliate, IML -  it has helped affiliates accelerate their sustainable investing journey.

Watson said the asset manager is on track to achieve its goal of having 50 per cent of its assets under management invested sustainably by 2024

"Helping our clients to achieve their ESG goals is a critical part of Natixis IM's leadership in sustainable investing," she said

"In the new role, Laura will help our clients to navigate the ever-changing sustainable investing landscape."

Kaliszewski reports to the asset manager's head of international distribution Fabrice Chemouny and the US chief executive David Giunta.

"The global landscape for responsible, sustainable and impact investing is evolving rapidly and Laura will be an excellent resource for our clients as they navigate this complex and ever-changing environment," Chemouny said.

"Laura's strong and diverse background spanning sustainability, credit and portfolio management enables her to understand our clients' complex needs and identify solutions to meet their investment objectives."

Kaliszewski - who joined Natixis IM three years ago - has more than 15 years of experience in sustainable and impact investing, portfolio management, credit, and risk with firms including Moody's, BlueOrchard, Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan.

She has also worked for the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation.
