NABAM names new Head of Global Institutional Distribution

NAB Asset Management (NABAM) has appointed Ross Kent as the firm's new head of global institutional distribution, effective 2 May 2016.

Kent was previously the institutional regional director, Australia & New Zealand for Dimensional Fund Advisors. Before this, he was both CEO for Australia and New Zealand and executive director at AllianceBernstein (AB), responsible for managing the business and executing the strategy to build the firm's presence in the regional market.

Commenting on the appointment, NAB Asset Management GM Brendan Donohoe said: "Given Ross's extensive industry experience in both institutional and retail distribution, client and business management, and his well-honed leadership and strategic skills, he was a natural fit for the role."

Dimensional Fund Advisors has confirmed that it will shortly commence advertising for Kent's successor.
