Mutual Trust has hired Ralf Haase, the former general manager of Commonwealth Bank's private office, as its head of Sydney.

Mutual Trust recently underwent a rebrand following the merger of Mutual Trust and the Myer Family Company and now have offices in Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney.

Haase brings more than 25 years' experience to the organisation, most recently a decade with CBA where he created the organisation's ultra-and high-net-worth family office business. Before that, Haase spent more than 13 years with Goldman Sachs in London and Frankfurt. He also spent several years with Macquarie Private.

"Ralf brings to Mutual Trust a deep understanding of the Sydney market," said Mutual Trust CEO Phil Harkness. "I am confident he can drive our business growth and provide strong leadership for the Sydney team."

Haase says he's looking forward to joining Mutual Trust, "[...]An organisation that has a strong and collaborative team focus, in delivering the best possible and very tailored solutions for many family circumstances. The ability to guide families with subject matter expertise that goes beyond a strong investment culture will be key, especially as wealth is transitioned to the next generation in the decade ahead."
