Morningstar promotes director of manager selection

Morningstar has promoted Aman Ramrakha as director of manager selection services. In his new role, Ramrakha will represent the organisation on client investment committees and contribute to the construction of client-approved products and model portfolios in Australia and New Zealand.

Ramrakha joined Morningstar in 2018 as director of manager research ratings. He previously held executive research roles with CBA, BT, KPMG, and Aon.

"This move will allow us to support the continued growth of our manager research client base and our strategic desire to grow our Research Advisory business," said Grant Kennaway, director of manager research. "We're seeing more demand for client-facing activity to support the implementation of our manager research, including APL management and model construction, and Aman's proven client skills make him a perfect fit for the role."

Morningstar says they are recruiting for a new leader of its Australian manager research ratings team. Ramrakha will continue to lead the team in the interim.
