Morningstar Investment Management has appointed an executive to lead its New South Wales advice solutions team.
Mark Fenech has taken on the director of advice solutions role after previously working as an investment specialist.
Morningstar said the role is strategic as Fenech will collaborate with the head of wealth solutions, product and marketing, the investment team and key industry stakeholders.
The collaborative nature role will ensure the firm's value proposition is differentiated and relevant to the needs of advisers and their clients.
Fenech joined Morningstar eight months ago from Lakehouse Capital, where he worked as a senior business development manager.
Previous roles include a director at Profectus Financial Group, an investment consultant at Kramasil, and a derivatives settlement and risk officer at Rivkin Financial Group.
He has also done stints as an account executive at Challenger and a client services manager at Perpetual.
"Mark has already made a great impact on our clients and the NSW team since he began with the business in July last year," said Morningstar IM's head of wealth solutions James Louw.
"I am looking forward to Mark continuing to make a valuable contribution in supporting our adviser clients.
On being appointed the role, Mark commented, 'I am delighted to be working alongside an experienced and dedicated advice solutions team passionate about delivering Morningstar's value proposition for advisers."
