Morningstar appoints manager research analyst

Morningstar Australasia has appointed Nikolai Bull as a manager research analyst, hiring from Centrepoint Alliance.

In the job, Nikolai will be involved in the ratings and coverage of investment managers under Morningstar's coverage, including managed funds, exchange-traded funds and listed investment companies and trusts.

He will also work with the local and international manager research teams across Morningstar's 14 global offices.

Bull has over five years of experience in financial services.

He previously worked as a research analyst for Centrepoint Alliance and at the National Australia Bank for over two years before that, supporting the bank's clients.

Aman Ramrakha, the director for manager selection services at the research house left the firm late last month after more than seven years.
