Former Morningstar Australia head Jamie Wickham has landed at private wealth firm Minchin Moore.

Following a 25-year career at Morningstar, including the last six years running the Australia and New Zealand businesses, Wickham will look after Minchin Moore's institutional and family office client base and business.

He has joined as a senior investment adviser.

Leveraging his background working with institutional clients, Wickham will collaborate with investment chief Andrew Marchant to strengthen and build client relationships in the institutional and for-purpose space.

In addition, Wickham will work on enhancing Minchin Moore's value proposition for family offices.

Whilst the advice firm can already count family offices amongst its clients, the advisor aims to develop a more flexible suite of services tailored to ultra-high-net-worth families.

Wickham had worked at Morningstar since 2006 when it took over Aspect Huntley. He has held several senior roles since in both Australia and the UK.

He has overseen the local business since 2017.

Speaking of his move to Minchin Moore he said he was keen to join a growing business with great people and purpose.

"I have known two of the founding partners, Mark Minchin and Angus Warden thirty years, and long admired the way the partners have built Minchin Moore into a professional financial advice firm with high-quality people, a strong culture and thoughtful investment philosophy," he added.

Managing partner Mark Minchin welcomed the recruit, pointing to the wealth of experience and insights he brings to the firm.

"His addition underscores our commitment to delivering the highest level of service and expertise to our clients."

The firm manages $2.8 billion in funds on behalf of approximately 900 private clients.
