Montgomery adds to national distribution team

Montgomery Investment Management has announced the appointment of Michael Gollagher to the firm's national distribution team as a national account manager.

In this newly-created role, Gallagher will support the growth of the company's existing adviser and dealer group relationships in Queensland.

Gallagher has over 18 years' experience in financial services with distribution roles spanning investments, platform and advice. Prior to joining Montgomery, he spent 13 years as the business development manager for Queensland at Perpetual Limited.

In welcoming him to Montgomery, Scott Phillips, head of distribution, said: "We're delighted to have someone of Michael's calibre join Montgomery...Michael brings experience across a range of asset classes in both unlisted and listed structures which was important given Montgomery's capabilities. His addition is seen as a key hire as we continue building our national footprint."
