Monoova appoints head of growth

End-to-end payments provider Monoova has appointed Lionel Beraldi as its first head of growth.

Monoova CEO Christian Westerlind Wigstrom said Beraldi's appointment comes on the back of continued expansion and growth in the Australian market. "Monoova has grown exponentially over the last year as the demand for real-time payments continues to rise. We're excited to have Lionel on board as such a pivotal time for our business.

"As we look to the future, Lionel's appointment will be fundamental in supporting our increasingly sophisticated client group, ranging from fellow fintech's to large established corporates," said Westerlind Wigstrom.

Beraldi comes from WeWork, where he helped expand the business in Australia and New Zealand. He left at the end of 2020. He came to Australia in 2015 as the head of growth for foodora and was the ANZ sales director for remodelling and design site Houzz. He started his career in France as a property sales consultant and construction project coordinator.
