MLC Life adds to retail distribution team

MLC Life Insurance has made a string of new appointments to its retail distribution team in a bid to boost its relationships with licensees and advisers.

Two of the four new hires joined from Zurich/One Path.

First up, Angela Reinmuth has been appointed national licensee manager.

Before taking on the role at MLC Life, she was a national strategic account manager at Zurich /OnePath.

Reinmuth has also held several adviser-facing and leadership roles at that insurer.

Most recently, however, she worked for AIA on contract.

The other three new hires - Jason Perrotto, Kirsten Galvin, and Arthur Tsimbouris - have been appointed adviser partnership managers.

Previously, Perrotto was a business development manager with Asteron Life.

Galvin most recently was a business development manager with Zurich/OnePath, and Tsimbouris joined from AMP Financial Planning.

"I'm delighted to welcome Angela, Jason, Kirsten, and Arthur to our team," said Michael Downey, MLC's general manager of retail distribution partnerships.

"They are all highly experienced insurance industry professionals with a passion for improving our partnerships with advisers and licensees and will strengthen our team immensely," he added.

"We are keen to hit the ground running next year as we build on our partnership credentials."
