Jim Minto joins EQT Board

Equity Trustees (EQT) has announced the appointment of Jim Minto to its board, effective 1 March 2017.

Minto was previously the CEO of TAL, a role he left in April 2015, and was also chair of ASFA from November 2013 till July 2015.

He has 30 years' experience in managing director roles with the Tower group and was appointed to the Dai-ichi Life Asia Pacific (Singapore) board after its acquisition of Tower in 2011. He is also a director of AFG Australian Financial Group and the National Disability Insurance Agency.

Commenting on his appointment, EQT chair, Tony Killen, said: "Jim's impressive financial services career spans many decades in senior leadership roles and multiple listed and non-listed company directorships...Jim's addition to our Board adds extensive experience which will directly inform and support the development of our private client, superannuation and corporate trustee business."
