MetLife appoints Senior Sales Manager

MetLife has announced the expansion of its retail team with the appointment of Casey Sugden as senior sales manager for Victoria and Tasmania, effective February 2018,

In this role, Sugden will lead MetLife's engagement with advisers and further build the regional sales team as the firm prepares to launch its retail life insurance offering.

Previously, Sugden was a regional development manager at Accurium, part of Challenger. Prior to this, he was a senior business development manager at AIA.

At MetLife he joins Charlé Howard who was appointed to the retail sales team as a strategic account manager in December 2017.

Commenting on both appointments, head of retail sales, Matt Lippiatt, said: "We want to be the partner advisers and licensees rely on to help them navigate the changing world of life insurance for their clients. Charlé and Casey will further strengthen our capabilities, and I'm delighted to welcome them to our retail team."
