Mercer has confirmed to Industry Moves the departure of Sarah Azzi, who was a principal in the firm's investments' private markets group, responsible for researching private markets products and assisting clients with the construction and monitoring of their private markets portfolios.
Previously, Azzi was a senior investment consultant at Sovereign Investment Research, a boutique alternatives investment advisory firm. She, along with fellow consultant Scott McNully and Sovereign founder Ray King, moved to Mercer in 2012 after Mercer's acquisition of the firm while building out its private markets business.
Azzi has taken up a new role as associate director at private equity firm Anacacia Capital, effective July 2016.
