LGIAsuper has announced the retirement of member representative director, Ron Curtis, after seven years of service, effective 30 June 2018.

Curtis was previously the chair of City Super Fund before it merged with LGIAsuper (then known as LG Super) in 2011. He joined the City Super board as a director in July 2005 and was appointed chair in 2009.

Curtis is a member of LGIAsuper's investment committee and is the chair of the fund's remuneration, HR and nominations committee.

Commenting on his departure, and that of fellow retiring member representative directors, Fiona Connor and Noel Cass, LGIAsuper chair, John Smith, paid tribute to their "long and dedicated service, particularly their hard work in helping steer the fund through its transition to a public offer fund in 2017."

They are to be succeeded by incoming directors, Jennifer Sanders, Ray Burton and Ros Heit, who will commence their four-year terms on 1 July 2018
