Matt Williams joins Airlie Funds Management

Matt Williams has joined Airlie Funds Management as a portfolio manager. Williams previously spent 17 years at Perpetual before leaving the firm in February 2015. Williams and Airlie founder John Sevior worked together at Perpetual for more than a decade with Williams taking the reins as head of equities when Sevior left Perpetual in late 2011.

Commenting on Williams' appointment at Airlie, John Sevoir said: "Matt is one of the best guys and most level headed investors in the market. It'll be fantastic having him in the team"

Wiilliams added: "John and I had a great working relationship for 17 years so I'm really looking forward to joining John and the Airlie team in July,"
