Mathie joins Praemium

Praemium has appointed ex-Fidelity head of wholesale Andrew Mathie as its new regional manager for New South Wales.

"We are delighted to have Andrew join our team and help further grow our presence in the important Sydney and NSW Markets," Praemium head of distribution Martin Morris told Financial Standard.

"His broad expertise across retail, institutional and wholesale markets and a deep understanding of the advice industry will add further breadth to our experienced and growing team."

Mathie spent a short stint with Atticus Wealth as head of distribution in 2020. He's also been a senior key account manager with Vanguard and spent more than eight years as a division director with Macquarie's banking and financial services division. Mathie has also held roles with Asgard Wealth Solutions, BT Financial Group, and St.George Bank.
