Mason Stevens grows tech team

Mason Stevens has added two new executives to strengthen its fast-growing team.

Vien Luong joins as the firm's head of platform and Tracy Southern as head of technology.

In the new role, Luong will lead the continued development and enhancement of the platform's technology to ensure it continues to meet financial advisers' needs.

"Delivering outstanding services direct to financial advisers and end clients is a non-negotiable and I am looking forward to working closely across all facets of the business to further improve our wealth platform," he said.

Luong has worked with Mason Stevens once before. From 2010 to 2017 he worked as the project leader for system upgrades.

Other previous roles include head of product strategy & design at Creativemass and director of sales at Broadridge, a US financial services technology provider

He also worked at Wilsons HTM as an operations team manager and at Next Financial as reporting and corporate actions supervisor.

For her part, Southern will drive the technology strategy and objectives, leading the infrastructure, development, and technology project teams.

She joins  from FNZ where she has spent the last three years running the NAB Trade Wealth platform.

Other previous jobs include working for the New South Wales government, the Wyong Shire Council on the NSW Central Coast, and the Central Coast Mariners Football Club.
