Mason Stevens appoints fintech veteran as CTO

Managed accounts and platform provider, Mason Stevens, has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of Enda Mahoney as chief technology officer (CTO).

In this newly-created role, according to the firm, Mahoney will work closely with the product, advisory and analytics teams to "drive innovation, business intelligence and data insights."

Mahoney, who has more than 25 years' experience in financial technology roles, was previously the CTO and a seed investor of Cxi Software. Before that, he was the head of digital transformation and business architecture at Macquarie Group; the chief operating officer at Financial Simplicity; the director of IT at Blackrock; and the CTO at Bravura Solutions. He is also the MD and founder of Bizzarch, a consultancy that assists financial institutions design platforms.

Commenting on his appointment at Mason Stevens, chair, Patrick Handley, said: "Enda will be responsible for developing our IT strategy and implementing a next generation wealth platform for our advisers and their clients.''

Mahoney added: "Having a background in designing and developing innovative platforms and teams, I'm excited to join the rapidly expanding team at Mason Stevens."
