Marketing head at Janus has a super pedigree

The new Australian head of marketing at Janus Henderson Investors has a wealth of experience in finance and superannuation.

Janus today announced Heather Gyton Carroll will lead the team's Australian marketing efforts. Janus's Australian chief Matt Gaden said that he's delighted to have Heather join the team. "Her wealth of experience in asset management marketing will be vital to assist with our growth ambitions in Australia."

Before joining Janus this month, Heather Gyton Carroll spent more than 7 years managing the marketing strategy for Perpetual Investments. Prior to that Carroll was head of marketing for Colonial First State handling channel marketing and brand management for the superannuation fund.

"Heather's experience spans a wide range of asset classes and investment vehicles across the retail, wholesale and institutional channels," says Gaden. "She also has a proven track record of establishing and growing brands and executing effective marketing strategies for diversified funds management businesses."
