Maple-Brown Abbott Limited - Head of ESG
APPOINTMENT
MAPLE-BROWN ABBOTT LIMITED
Date: July 2021
Position: Head of ESG

Maple-Brown Abbott has appointed Emma Pringle as its new head of ESG.

Pringle has been a maternity leave cover for the role for the last year. Her predecessor, Natasha McKean, has chosen to leave the organisation.

During her time with the organisation, Pringle led the organisation to join two investor collaborations aligned to Maple-Brown Abbott's ESG focus areas, including the Climate Action 100+ and Investors Against Slavery and Trafficking Asia-Pacific.

"Emma's appointment reflects Maple-Brown Abbott's continued investment in the ESG space and how seriously we view integrating ESG factors into our investment process across all of our portfolios," said CEO and managing director Sophia Rahmani. "We expect this will be even more important as risks around climate change and social issues like modern slavery become more prevalent. Emma brings market-leading experience and talent and I'm confident that under her oversight we will continue to be a leader in ESG."
