Maloney to take over AMP Australia Wrap and SMSF platforms

Edwina Maloney is set to move from AMP Capital to AMP Australia, taking on a new role as director of Wrap and SMSF platforms.

For the last six years, Maloney has been AMP Capital's global head of product, managing products across Australia, China, Korea, Japan, and Europe. She leads a team of more than 30, including investment researchers that provide fund manager research and review services to AMP Wealth and Life Insurance businesses.

In total, Maloney has been with AMP for nine years. She previously held senior roles in Perpetual's product and business development operation and was a manager of strategy at Accenture's financial services group.

Maloney is one of several people named to the new AMP Australia leadership team, including managing director of wealth Matt Lawler.
