Magellan promotes portfolio manager to head of research

Magellan Financial Group has promoted former portfolio manager Nikki Thomas to head of research following a restructure of the investment team. In the new role, Thomas will continue to participate in stock research as a member of the Franchises team and will report directly to newly appointed chief investment officer Hamish Douglass. Thomas will work closely with Gerald Stack who was previously head of research and is now head of investment.
