Magellan has confirmed to Industry Moves that Arvid Streimann has been appointed as head of macro research / senior analyst, effective January 2018.
Streimann first joined Magellan in September 2014 as an analyst. Prior to this, he spent four years as an equity analyst at Morgan Stanley. He has previously worked at Aon, UBS Investment Bank and the Reserve Bank of Australia.
At Magellan he replaces Sam Churchill, who departed the firm in November 2017 to take on a strategy, policy and economic consulting role with Churchill & Associates.
