Macquarie Bank MD and CEO to step into deputy role

Greg Ward will step down as managing director and CEO of Macquarie Bank Limited (MBL) effective 1 July 2014. Ward will remain the group's deputy managing director, head of Banking and Financial Services (BFS) and a member of Macquarie's Executive Committee. He will be replaced in the top job by current head of risk, Mary Reemst.
