David Kells has left Morgans to take up a managing director role at MA Moelis Australia where he will focus on doing more small-cap ECM deals.
Kells worked at Morgans Financial for 18 months as a corporate advisory director.
Before that, he spent nearly five years in corporate finance at Shaw and Partners.
Earlier, he was a director at BridgePoint Group, a vice president at Nomura, and an associate director at Wilson HTM.
In his new role, Kells will report to MA Moelis corporate advisory head, Paul Rathborne.
"MA Moelis Australia has built a leading advisory platform over the last decade focused on M&A, capital markets, and capital solutions for our clients, with over 50 bankers across the country," said Rathborne.
"Our hiring of David is a further step in growing our capital markets platform where he will focus on leading our efforts in originating and delivering equity capital market solutions for high-growth companies across the technology, industrials, and small-mid cap space."
