Lonsec hires CIO from Westpac

Kevin Brennan, former head of technology for Westpac's advice and private wealth arm, has been named the permanent chief information officer with Lonsec Group.

Brennan left Westpac at the end of 2019 and took a career break, returning to the workforce with Lonsec as interim CIO in April of this year. In a statement, the organisation said Brennan was excited to start his new role. "Kevin brings more than 20 years' experience running large technology teams in the wealth industry. His key focus will be to elevate the role of technology within Lonsec and drive a comprehensive technology and data strategy to transform its service architecture and further accelerate business growth."

Brennan spent more than 15 years with Wespac, working with its wealth and wrap platforms.
