First Super has announced the departure of employee representative director, David Kirner, effective September 2017.
Kirner, who was nominated by CFMEU (Forestry and Furnishing Products Division), first joined the $2.6 billion super fund in July 2008, serving for one year. He was then re-appointed in March 2010.
His successor is Scott McDine, a former director of both AustralianSuper and Cbus.
In the announcement, First Super CEO Bill Watson thanked Kirner for his years of service to the fund and its members.
