Long-serving CIO to leave Equip

Equip has restructured its investment team and consolidated the roles of chief investment officer (CIO) and executive officer, liability management. As a result, long-serving CIO Michael Strachan is to depart the fund.

Stepping into the new consolidated role of executive officer, investment strategy is the fund's former executive officer, liability management, Troy Reick.

Acting Equip CEO Nick Vamvakas thanked Strachan for "his stewardship of the team over the past ten years" and wished him well as he "pursues other interests".

Commenting on 'what's next?' to Industry Moves, Strachan said: "I am open to consider new opportunities as they arise."
