Lipscombe joins Perpetual Private as head of family office

Nick Lipscombe has joined Perpetual Private as its new head of family office.

Lipscome brings with him more than 20 years' experience in international banking, property, financial markets, and family office services. He was most recently a partner and head of the Sydney operations for Mutual Trust. He previously spent time with the Myer Family Company and was a high net worth executive for NAB.

The family office team will also include Michelle Maynard as partner, Fredrick Cotter and Peter Whitehead as associate partners, and Leonie Rigney as an associate. "The creation of this new team is key to Perpetual Private's advice business as we continue to focus on meeting client needs and enhancing our existing offering," said Perpetual group executive Mark Smith.

"Nick's extensive experience gained both in Australia and overseas, together with his expertise in family office will be a great asset to head up this new team and in creating a truly holistic client offering. I look forward to welcoming Nick and the team to Perpetual."

Lipscombe says he's excited to join the team. "Perpetual's long-standing experience with clients, its trustee heritage, extensive philanthropic capability combined with its accounting, tax and advisory services are complementary to family office services, providing a comprehensive client offering."

Lipscombe and the team will commence their roles in March.
