The Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) has announced that Suzanne Holden has stepped down from the ASFA board following her departure as chief executive officer of Link Group, effective August 2018.

John McMurtrie, Link Group's current managing director, will fill the vacancy left by Holden.

ASFA Chair, Dr Michael Easson, acknowledged Holden's and fellow departee, Michael Dwyer's, "significant contributions" to the ASFA board and wished them both well for the future. He added that Holden had "made a valuable contribution to the human resources & remuneration and policy committees."

Incoming First State Super CEO, Deanne Stewart, will fill the vacancy left by outgoing CEO, Michael Dwyer.
