Link appoints operations chief following team restructure

Link Group has confirmed to Industry Moves that it has brought together its operations team and technology & innovation team into a newly-created team called operations, technology & innovation (O,T&I) to be led by newly-appointed chief operations, technology & innovation officer Paul Gardiner.

The firm said that Gardiner and his team "will continue to work closely with all of Link's clients to ensure that this change will deliver enhanced opportunities for product, process and service innovation, in order to better support our clients' growth and goals."

Gardiner, who has over 15 years' experience in operations, data analytics and digital technology, joined Link Group in 2015 as CEO of technology & innovation and was appointed CEO of corporate markets in 2016.

Link Group has also announced the appointment of Nigel McCammon, former head of Mercer Administration Services, to the role of chief operations officer, Asia Pacific, O,T&I, reporting to Gardiner.
