Local Government Super Director departs

Local Government Super (LGS) has confirmed the departure of director, Jeff Morris, effective September 2017.

Morris first joined the $10 billion fund in April 2015 and was appointed by Local Government NSW.

He has 30 years' experience in financial services having previously served as vice president of Bankers Trust (now BT Financial Group) and as a director of BTFG's corporate superannuation fund. He currently serves as a councillor on North Sydney Council.

Morris has been replaced at LGS by Lindsay Brown, effective 5 September 2017.
