LGIAsuper writer departs to set up PR firm

Finance writer and analyst, Tom Ellison, has confirmed to Industry Moves his departure from Brisbane-based fund LGIAsuper to head up a new PR and consulting firm.

Ellison was the senior content writer for LGIAsuper and was formerly managing editor of the Barefoot Investor business.

Ellison is recruiting a number of former Fairfax and News Limited journalists for the new venture, which he said will "specialise in providing engaging financial content and member engagement strategies for super funds and advisory firms."

Ellison has more than two decades' experience managing stockbroking firms.
