LGIAsuper appoints Chief Growth Officer

Brisbane-based superannuation fund, LGIAsuper, has bolstered its executive team with the appointment of Andrea Peters to the newly-created role of chief growth officer.

Peters has more than 20 years' experience in the financial services industry, having worked in Australia and the United States for organisations such as JPMorgan Chase, Commonwealth Bank, Westpac and Citi. Most recently, she served as the head of banking products for Credit Union Australia.

In welcoming her to LGIAsuper, CEO, Kate Farrar, said that Peters "is a leader in the financial services industry" and that the $12 billion fund's long-term growth strategy will see it "expand its focus on innovation".

Peters added that she is looking forward to supporting members "as they work towards their ideal retirement" and that she is "eager to drive growth by attracting new members to the fund."
