LGIAsuper has announced the appointment of Ros Heit to its board as a member representative director, effective 1 July 2018.

Heit will be joined by fellow new member representatives, Jennifer Sanders and Ray Burton. The three new directors will replace Noel Cass, Fiona Connor and Ron Curtis, who retire from the board in July.

Heit is currently an elected councillor in South Burnett, a role she commenced in 2013.

LGIAsuper will also welcome a new employer representative to its board, Sunshine Coast Mayor and Local Government Association of Queensland president, Mark Jamieson, who also joins in July.

Referring to Heit's appointment, the LGIAsuper website states: "Ros is honest and logical and will be diligent in questioning and challenging to ensure the LGIA members get the best from their superannuation whilst ensuring the security of the funds held. She has a track record of working and advocating for people and will work hard for each and every LGIA member."
