Leader named for MLC Life Insurance Bancassurance, Digital and Direct team

MLC Life Insurance has announced its new leadership team for the bancassurance, digital and direct team, following the recent strategic partnership between National Australia Bank (NAB) and Nippon Life Insurance Company.

Anand Thomas has been announced as the team leader, taking on the role of chief customer officer - bancassurance, digital & direct insurance.

Joining Thomas' team is a mix of "insurance professionals and domain experts" in the area of digital and data science, including: Tim Roso, head of digital; Glen Ryman, general manager data; Michael Olivier, general manager of sales; Nick Lethbridge, head of product; Stephen Rosengren, head of channel development; and Mouli Ganguly, head of transformation bancassurance.

Commenting on the new hires, Thomas said: "We are in an exciting period of growth, and we intend on delivering on this by providing our customers with an experience they have come to expect from their interactions with other innovative, customer focused organisations such as Google, Disney, Apple, and Amazon."
