As part of the recent strategic partnership between National Australia Bank (NAB) and Nippon Life Insurance Company, MLC Life Insurance has strengthened its Retail Advised team with a number of key appointments, including Melissa Heyhoe who will lead the team as the chief customer officer of retail advised, effective October 2016.
Heyhoe's team will include: Russell Hannah, who takes up the newly-created role of general manager, retail advised insurance sales; Adrienne Cochrane, who joins as head of customer solutions, longevity & insurance; Charlotte Sheehan as head of customer experience & retention; Simon Dent as head of underwriting & new business; and Christopher Ong, who was appointed into the role of head of pricing & profitability in March 2016.
Heyhoe believes the new appointments will strengthen MLC Life Insurance's innovation agenda, as it focuses on the development of new longevity solutions and driving a new direction in underwriting.
