KPMG names new Chief Information Officer

Craig Wishart has joined KPMG Australia as chief information officer (CIO), replacing Anthony Stevens, who now leads the firm's digital services team in the newly-created role of chief digital officer.

Wishart joins KPMG from UXC Ltd where he was CIO and chief technology officer, with global responsibility for the information and communications technology (ICT) function. Prior to this he was CIO and executive general manager for customer services at Service Stream. He has also held various executive IT roles at ANZ Bank, Telstra, Rio Tinto and Sensis.

In a statement, KPMG Australia chief financial officer Damian Templeton said: "Craig is very well placed to lead our IT Services team, with his extensive experience and cross-industry exposure. He also has significant global expertise and is highly regarded for his cloud platform, security and risk and ICT transformation capabilities."
