Anthony Stevens, former chief information officer (CIO) at KPMG Australia, has moved to the newly-created role of chief digital officer, with responsibility for leading the firm's digital services team.

His successor as KPMG Australia CIO, effective July 2016, is technology and operations executive Craig Wishart, who has led the delivery of large scale business transformations, cloud services implementations, and service operations change programs.

Commenting on the changes, KPMG Australia chief financial officer Damian Templeton said: "Under Anthony's leadership, the firm has implemented an unprecedented amount of change and transformed what and how [IT Services] supports the firm. This transformation will now be accelerated under Craig, with technology key to supporting and managing our firm's growth and development."
