KPMG has appointed David Bardsley as a director in its wealth management and superannuation advisory business.

David joins from AustralianSuper, where he was program director for the investment program, a program mandated to design, develop and implement the technology, processes, organisational construct and risk management practices so as to enable a large proportion of AustralianSuper's Funds Under Management to be internally managed.

At KPMG he will be responsible for optimising governance, investment & operational risk management, customer experience, investment management and transformation program outcomes for clients.

Joining Bardsley as a fellow director is former senior policy advisor and legal counsel at Industry Super Australia, Richard Watts.
