JP Morgan Asset Management has boosted its sales and client services business with three new hires.

Mark Carlile has been promoted to head of wholesale Australia & New Zealand reporting to Andrew Creber, the local firm's chief executive.

Carlile has been with the firm for eight years, previously as head of strategic relationships, which has evolved to the current role.

Earlier in his career, he managed key accounts, research, and platforms with Vanguard.

Before that, he held the position of business development manager at Goldman Sach JBWere.

Additionally, J.P.Morgan has recruited Justin Sultana and Stephanie Harrison who join from First Sentier Investors and Vanguard Investments respectively.

Josh Peel has also joined the firm as a client advisor on the institutional side.

Previously, he worked for Credit Suisse and Park Hill Group.

He most recently served as managing director of institutional client solutions at Partners Group, responsible for capital raising across private markets.

"With the recent new appointments, we are thrilled to grow our team to meet the needs of the Australian market and position the business for stronger growth," said Creber.

Creber said Australia is a key strategic market for JPMAM's growth in APAC," he said noting a rising demand for alternative assets, fixed income, and sustainable investing solutions.

"We look to further expand our offerings in these areas," he added.

The firm has accelerated its efforts in broadening and diversifying product line-up and client channels with the recent launch of JPMorgan Income Fund in March and the upcoming launch of JPMorgan Global Bond Fund.
