Jarden hires tech specialist from Macquarie Group

Fixed income and tech portfolio manager Manroop Singh is one of several hires announced for New Zealand-based Jarden's Australian team.

While his specific role wasn't detailed a spokesperson for the organisation indicated that Singh will sit in the technology team.

Singh started his career as an auditor with the KPMG financial services team. He's held subsequent portfolio analyst and management roles with AMP Capital and Macquarie Group, cosuing on fixed income, domestic and global credit portfolios, and structured credit.

More than a dozen appointments have been made to the Jarden Australia in the last few months, including head of research Ben Gilbert.
