Janus Henderson promotes within Australian Fixed Interest Team

Janus Henderson Investors (Janus Henderson) has announced the promotion of Shan Kwee to co-portfolio manager of the Australian fixed interest team's (Team) credit strategies including the Diversified Credit and Cash Enhanced Funds. Kwee will continue to partner alongside Noel Murphy in co-managing these portfolios, the firm said.

Jay Sivapalan, co-head of the Australian fixed interest team, said of Kwee's promotion: "Since joining the Team in January 2018 as a credit strategist, Shan has established himself as a key contributor in shaping portfolio strategy from both a top-down and bottom-up perspective...This appointment recognises the confidence we have in his capacity to play an integral role within the Team."

In addition, Dimitri Diamand has joined the Team as an analyst and dealer. He was most recently a portfolio risk associate within the investment risk team.

Matt Gaden, Janus Henderson's head of Australia, said that the promotions "acknowledge the talent within the company" and now bring the number of investment professionals in the Team to eight.
