Janus Henderson promotes Rudduck

Jaxon Rudduck has been promoted to head of consultant relations. The previous research and investment solutions director first joined Janus Henderson as a senior product development manager in early 2014 following seven years with Man Group.

During his time with Janus Henderson, Rudduck has helped broaden the relationships with institutional asset consultants in addition to his role of managing retail research. In his new position, Rudduck will continue working with local and global consultants, connecting them with the company's investment team.

Janus Henderson also announced that Tom Kelly has been promoted to head of institutional distribution for Australia, reporting to Matt Gaden. "With the ongoing consolidation in the market leading to fewer but larger funds, it has become increasingly important that we are able to connect with the market and our clients to solve problems or challenges, as opposed to simply pushing a product," said Gaden.

"These promotions reinforce the firm's commitment to growing its institutional business in Australia, as it is a critical component to our long-term vision for growth."
