JANA recruits from Club Plus Super

Jana, the asset consultant, has named Lindy Hunt as the new head of legal, risk, and compliance.

As head of legal, risk, and compliance, Hunt will focus on managing the firm's contractual relationships, governance, and ongoing development and implementation of the consultant's risk and compliance frameworks.

The recruit has more than 15 years' experience as a practicing lawyer in superannuation, regulatory affairs, and fund governance.

Since 2015, Hunt has carried out a similar role at Club Plus Super - being primarily responsible for maintaining and implementing an effective governance and risk management framework for the fund and trustee.

Before joining the asset owner, Hunt worked at Mercer's for more than ten years as a senior solicitor and principal in Mercer's governance and legal consulting practice.

Previously, she worked for the prudential regulator, where she conducted investigations into breaches of superannuation laws.
