JANA names new CEO

NAB Asset Management has announced the appointment of Jim Lamborn as the new CEO of JANA. Lamborn was previously JANA's executive director and head of implemented consulting. Prior to joining the firm in 2002, he was the treasurer for SPI Powernet.

Lamborn will replace Ian Patrick, who after more than 14 years at JANA, including seven years leading the business, has taken the role of chief investment officer at Sunsuper.

Speaking of his new appointment, Lamborn said: "I'm excited and honoured to be appointed to lead the JANA business. Since starting with JANA in 2002 and then becoming a Director in 2006, I have had the opportunity to play a leadership role in a truly innovative business, focused on delivering sustained strong performance for our growing client base."
