JANA consultant quits firm for London job

JANA senior consultant Angela Ruchin is joining a steady stream of investment professionals who have skipped town to take up a role in a major market.

Ruchin - a senior consultant at JANA and a member of the infrastructure research team and the direct investment unit - has got a new job at the US$608 billion Columbia Threadneedle Investments.

She has joined the global asset manager's UK business as a senior advisor in its infrastructure Investments team.

Ruchin is a senior Infrastructure professional with over 20 years of experience in financial markets across funds management, asset management, originations and execution, project financing, board roles and investment advisory.

Before joining JANA in 2018, she spent three years in Westpac's project finance team, participating in a number of large privatisations, including successfully financing regulated utilities, transport infrastructure and renewable energy.

She can also count eight years' experience with Hastings as an assistant fund manager, asset manager and originator and having board roles on PPP projects and transport infrastructure including airports, ports and rail.
