JANA appoints strategy head

The asset consultant has recruited a new general manager of strategy and innovation to replace Georgina Dudley, the incoming chief executive.

Lauren O'Neill has been promoted from her role as head of client development at JANA.

Before joining JANA four years ago, she was a director at the UK partnership firm Lane Clark & Peacock.

Earlier O'Neill spent ten years at Mercer most recently as a sales director.

"Lauren is an integral part of the JANA team, and her drive to deliver the best results whilst also pushing the boundaries when it comes to strategic and innovative thinking will ensure the delivery of enhanced outcomes for clients," said Dudley.

Sai Srinivasan will step into O'Neill's current role after being appointed acting head of client development 11 months ago.

Srinivasan landed at JANA eighteen months ago from AMP, where he spent two years as a business development manager.

Other industry funds he has worked at include TWUSuper and First State Super as an account manager and financial adviser, respectively.

Lauren O'Neill and Sai Srinivasan have a wealth of experience initiating, developing and managing client relationships and have been instrumental in developing growth strategies and culture to best support business growth," added Dudley.

Speaking of her appointment, O'Neill said JANA had strong foundations and exciting opportunities for growth and change - with the overarching focus of improving client outcomes.

O'Neill will report to Dudley. Srinivasan will continue to report to O'Neill.
